The Paddingtons have been performing Celtic and maritime folk music since 1995. They have played in a wide variety of settings, from pubs and restaurants to concert halls and festival stages. Their fluctuating instrumentation is based around the fiddle and cittern (Irish bouzouki) but is often augmented by percussion, flute, and bass. Feel their flying fingers forcing your feet to fly!

Formed in 2010, Viljo is an Alternative Pop band whose influences range from the art pop of Peter Gabriel all the way to the wall of sound aesthetics of My Bloody Valentine. The common denominator here is the efficient songwriting of singer Guillaume Guilbault backed up by the intense delivery of the musicians consisting of Mandela Coupal on the drums, Gabriel Maurice on the bass, Félix Bouchard-Tremblay and Félix Norton Barsalou manning the guitars, and singer Laurence Lafond-Beaulne. Viljo offers pop that's refreshingly profound; a show that is not to be missed!

Les Murènes is a musical-theatre band who specializes in sea shanties dating from the golden age of piracy. Voices, dirty bearded actors; Les Murènes will enchant you with the sounds of their different musical instruments like the hurdy-gurdy, concertina, guitar, bouzouki, accordion, bodhran, mandolin, clacmore and foot-taper. Les Murènes are made of guys, passionate about piracy and seeking to give their contemporary counterparts an amazing musical, theatrical and historical experience... Their repertoire originates mainly from Breton, Norman, French, English and Irish folklore but also includes some musical compositions of their own ... Come aboard and let their voices carry you to sea…
Les Gourmandes

Les Gourmandes are four young ladies who only use their voices to created music. They have their own words to sing, their own melodies to hum.
They are singers, comedians, percussionists, songwriters and musicians. In 2010, they finished first at the National finale of Cégeps en Spectacle with their song Indigestion.
Since then, the stories multiply and so do the performances.

Maracuja

Maracujá, the passion fruit, is an essential icon of Brazilian culture, an image reflecting the musical passion of this Montreal-based ensemble. Their repertoire is a blend of sultry Bossa Nova, upbeat Samba and swinging Jazz standards.
Since 2003, Maracujá has played various corporate and private events throughout Quebec, including over 140 performances on the main stage of the Casino de Montréal in 2004 and 2005 as the house band for the "Carnaval brésilien", a month-long event of Brazilian culture. Maracujá has also toured Quebec with the "Bravaria Festival", a Brazilian music street festival in 2003 and 2004. The ensemble has become one of the resident bands for the infamous "Dimanches brésiliens" at Bobards, Montreal's choice venue authentic live World music. Maracujá has since been performing for various audiences and has become a household name in both Brazilian circles and in the musical community. In 2006, the group's founding members participated in the North America tour of Cirque du Soleil "Delirium" show.
Maracujá will be sure to shine on your special event...the tropical reference in live music entertainment!

Xavier's unique voice and guitar playing blend perfectly to his modern and catchy style. Melodic, simple but refined, his music is often referred to as an original mixture of older folk and pop music with a European modern rock and indie sound. It's on stage that Xavier Constantin takes his true form where you will find a charming and energetic performer, whether it's a large or smaller venue.

The Bombadils are a five-piece ensemble based out of Montréal. They met in 2009 shortly after beginning their classical and jazz studies in music at McGill University. The Bombadils share an eclectic variety of musical interests, which they bring together to create a unique, folk-inspired sound that is at once accessible and virtuosic.
Rodrigo Salazar

Rodrigo Salazar studied acoustic bass and music pedagogy at the conservatory of music at the University of Conception in Chili. Moved by a desire for new experiences, he established himself in Buenos Aires, Argentina, where he has worked with professional musical jazz ensembles. Then he went to Brazil where he devoted his time to Brazilian music, focusing on the guitar, the bass and singing. He has been living in Montreal now for 19 years where he shares in his culture with Quebeckers.
